The fire apparatus that burned for nearly three hours at the Georgia Capitol on Tuesday is one of more than 100 that have been removed from its grounds in the past few years after being deemed too dangerous for children.

Scott Applewhite/AP)A spokeswoman for the Capitol told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the Capitol is under an emergency evacuation order and that all employees are required to stay inside.
There was no immediate comment from the Georgia Fire and Emergency Services Department.
