Google Glass is the first smart glasses to go on sale in the US and UK, and it’s been heralded as the new smart phone in the wearable space.
But how does it work?
Here’s everything you need to know.
What is it?
Google Glass is an augmented reality headset that uses the phone to project a digital image onto your glasses screen.
You then take a photo of it with your phone, which displays the photo on your Glass screen.
How does it differ from other smart glasses?
Google Glass works with your smartphone to overlay the image onto the glasses screen, so you can interact with it as if you were using a phone.
This means you can view video on your phone while you’re using Glass, for example, or use voice commands to interact with Google Maps or Google Now.
But the headset also uses your smartphone’s camera to record the video you’re taking.
How is it different from other devices?
There are a few key differences between Glass and other smartwatches, including its camera: Glass is a standalone device, unlike some other smartwatch models, which need to connect to a computer to operate.
This makes it more difficult to integrate with other software and third-party applications.
The headset uses the same processor as most other smart watches, which means it can work even if you’re not wearing a smartwatch.
Google Glass also has more sensors and sensors to make it work, such as an accelerometer, gyroscope and compass.
Why is it a good option for the office?
Glass is not just a smartphone for your eyes and ears.
Glass can also work in the office, where it will work with your tablet or computer to take a picture and then use it to record a video on a large display.
But you can’t use Glass at home, because you’ll need to attach it to your phone or tablet.
This is where it really shines: Glass can record video and photos in the background while you are doing other things in the living room, for instance, and even while you sleep.
It can also be used to do a variety of other things, including sending voice commands, playing music or controlling your camera remotely.
Google says Glass can be used in the home for a variety on-the-go tasks like watching a movie, setting up your home security system or making appointments.
What are the downsides to Glass?
Glass will only work with a smartphone and you’ll have to buy a separate headset for it to work in your home.
Glass will also have limitations, such like not being able to interact directly with your friends and family.
But these limitations don’t stop Glass from being a great option for people who need a device that can work at home.
It has the same battery life as a regular smartphone, and you can also use Glass to record videos or take pictures while you work.
You can even use Glass with your other smart devices to control your home and business using voice commands.
What’s the catch?
You’ll need a separate smartphone to use Glass.
The first version of Glass only works with phones running Android 2.3 or higher, and Glass won’t work on phones running older versions of Android.
The second version of the headset is expected to ship in early 2016.
You’ll also need to pay for a separate smartphone.
