GOLGI, South Dakota — Authorities are looking for a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a young golgi employee who died in an accident while wearing a helmet.
The Associated Press is reporting that the man was arrested Thursday in a case that has drawn national attention.
It was unclear whether he has a lawyer.
The AP was unable to reach the suspect for comment Friday.
Police have said that an employee at a South Dakota gas station was walking down a dirt road with his dog Friday when he was shot.
An employee who saw the incident reported it to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, which then went to a gas station in nearby Linn County.
Authorities said that the employee and a passenger were taken to the hospital, where the employee was pronounced dead.
